London estate agent adds online technology for buyers and sellers

Independent estate agent James Pendleton is giving clients online control of its own consultants’ diaries as it pioneers a customer service revolution for the industry.

It has announced the launch of an end to end online service allowing buyers and vendors to book viewings and valuations immediately.

The London agent, with 10 offices across the capital, says it is making the online technology leap in order to take the fight to online only agents and add value for a new generation of clients who like the ease of online but still value experience, service and local knowledge.

Clients now have the power to insert viewings and valuations directly into the diary of the relevant consultant. The diaries will be live 24 hours a day and protect buyers and vendors against double bookings automatically.

James Pendleton’s consultants will manage open house events on certain properties when required by limiting the availability of bookings to a single day.

The company has also introduced a feature which allows vendors to get a robo-valuation of their home on the website which is fine tuned when a consultant visits.

‘Online only agents have been shaking up the property world in recent years but they can’t compete on service. This innovation places us at the industry’s leading edge. End to end online bookings for valuations and viewings represents a significant investment for us as a boutique firm that makes it easy and hassle free to deal through us,’ said Lucy Pendleton, founder director of James Pendleton.

‘We think experienced buyers and sellers want the best of both worlds and that’s what we can now offer them. We are combining the ease of online with added value where it matters,’ she added.
