Club Med launches new phases in Mauritius and the Alps

Club Med has launched the second phase of its Chalet Apartments development in Valmorel and the third phase of its luxury Villas in Albion, Mauritius.

The Indian Ocean island of Mauritius was the first Club Med destination to include a real estate offer. There are already 26 finished luxury Villas at Albion and phase three has now launched.

Estimated to be completed in time for summer 2013, the five new three and four bedroom Villas are priced from €1,461,000 and €1,737,000, before tax.

Situated on 12 hectares of land alongside the Club Med Resort La Plantation d’Albion located on the west coast of the island, the single storey Villas feature quality materials chosen by Mauritian architect Jean-Michel d’Unienville. Each villa has its own infinity pool which integrates seamlessly with the surrounding tropical landscape.

Club Med’s unique lease management programme means that property owners can enjoy their home for several weeks per year and benefit from all the facilities and services of the neighbouring Club Med Resort.

When not in use by the owners, the properties are entered into a rental pool professionally managed by Club Med.  Club Med’s Freedom Privilege scheme also permits owners to exchange their holiday weeks to discover the most beautiful Club Med Resorts around the world. The selection of resorts included in this exclusive programme is renewed on a yearly basis.

Due to the sales success of Valmorel’s first phase, which is now 65% sold in less than a year, Club Med is launching phase two of the development.

The new phase of properties comprises a selection of 19 two, three and four bedrooms chalet apartments which are expected to be ready to move into by Christmas 2012, with prices starting from €546,000.

Nestled on the mountainside and enjoying an exceptional ski-in ski-out position, the luxurious chalet apartments feature charming and authentic Alpine architecture inspired by Savoyard villages, which blends perfectly with the surrounding environment.

The Valmorel Club Med Village which opened in December 2011 is the first Club Med ski resort offers three different experiences: a 4 Trident resort, 5 Trident restaurant and entertainment spaces, and chalet apartments.

Valmorel will have a total of 80 chalet apartments available under a property ownership programme which will be launched in a series of four phases. The first phase consisting of 27 chalet apartments was delivered in December 2011 when the resort was first opened to the public.
