Estate and lettings agents UK advert campaign launched

The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) have launched a new regional TV campaign to raise awareness among consumers of the importance of using an NAEA or ARLA licensed agent.

The TV campaign, titled #Lookforthelogo, will be aired across UK regions at prime viewing time, for example during popular television programmes Emmerdale, Coronation Street and ITV early evening news. The advert will encourage consumers to always look for the NAEA or ARLA logo when buying or renting a property.

‘Buying a house or renting a property is a stressful and often complex process, as well as a significant investment; therefore the importance of making a well informed decision as to the choice of estate agent or letting agent for the process is paramount,’ said Mark Hayward, managing director of NAEA.

‘Our new advertising campaign will highlight the importance of using a licenced NAEA or ARLA agent to ensure consumers receive professional, expert advice. Home owners or tenants can trust they will be fully protected and supported throughout the buying or letting process as NAEA and ARLA members follow a strict code of conduct. The advert is therefore designed to encourage consumers to look for the NAEA or ARLA logos to easily distinguish licensed from non-association branches,’ he explained.

NAEA is the UK’s leading professional body for estate agency personnel, and ARLA is the UK’s leading professional body for lettings agents. Both bodies are dedicated to the goal of professionalism within the property market.
