The Irish airline Aer Lingus has announced a new route linking Belfast to the French capital Paris, which is expected to make life easier for home buyers.

Aer Lingus, a privately run and owned airline operating out of Ireland in the UK, has just announced a new and regular route is being added to their schedule. According to the Belfast Telegraph the route will connect Belfast in Ireland with the French capital Paris.

This will have a huge benefit for Irish people who are looking to buy property abroad. The flights will land at Charles de Gaulle airport and will operate every day of the week, making it easier for Irish people to get to France should they choose to buy a property there.

Danny Silver works for Property Direct France, and sees a huge benefit for people looking to buy property in France, as that market will now open up for them. "We are very pleased to hear of Aer Lingus' new route from Belfast to Paris," he says, "as it will not only increase tourism to this already popular destination, but also heighten the demand for investment property in Paris and the surrounding areas."

A one way ticket to France will cost just £25, and given that all the relevant charges are included in that it makes the French property market all the more attractive for Irish buyers, who would previously have found the travel prohibitive and difficult.

The new route will be in place as of March 2008, which means the time is ripe to start looking for a French property.
