Zoopla has released a video training programme aimed at helping estate agents improve their conversion rates from valuation leads to instructions.
The six-part series, hosted by estate agency consultant Ian Preston, is available through ZooplaPro and covers lead conversion techniques, valuation appointments and follow-up strategies.
According to Rich Hayes, Chief Operating Officer at Zoopla, agents are receiving 32% more valuation leads from the platform year on year. “Leads only create value when they convert,” Hayes said. “We built Masterclass to give our agents the practical tools to win more instructions and grow their revenue.”
Training content
The first series, titled ‘Win More Leads: Become a Conversion Master’, draws on Preston’s experience conducting growth workshops for agents across the UK. Topics include reasons agents lose listings, tailoring valuation presentations to different sellers, post-valuation follow-up procedures, and scripts for booking and conducting appointments.
A second series, ‘Flexible Fees to the Revenue Rescue’, launches on 9th June and examines alternative fee structures, including presentation methods to sellers, handling objections and implementation within agencies.
The training comes as the estate agency sector faces ongoing challenges in converting leads to instructions. Recent developments in the sector have included consolidation among agency networks as firms seek to maintain market share in a competitive environment.

The full Masterclass series is available to Zoopla customers through ZooplaPro, with the first episode available without charge through Zoopla for Business.
The training programme represents Zoopla’s latest effort to provide additional services beyond lead generation to its agency customers, as platforms increasingly compete on value-added offerings in the property marketing sector.
