Estate agents using professionally produced property videos on social media platforms generate approximately six times more impressions than those using static images, according to data from property marketing platform PropertyBox.
The company reported that professionally produced video posts created through its platform generated over 8.1 million impressions and 212,000 clicks to agents’ websites during June 2026. This averaged 1,851 impressions, 701 video views and 48 website clicks per post.
Impact on property sales
PropertyBox referenced independent research by TwentyCi which found professionally marketed properties were 28.3% more likely to complete a sale and achieved sale prices averaging 1.9% higher than comparable properties, equating to an additional £7,356 for sellers.
The findings come at a time when 44% of UK homes remain unsold after three years, suggesting that marketing strategies may play a role in property sales completion rates. Recent data also showed UK home sales declined 10.4% in June across all regions.
Lee Wainwright, chief executive of PropertyBox, said: “The agents everyone’s watching are the ones stopping the scroll and commanding the feeds with professionally shot video, not static posts. In June alone, our agents’ videos drove more than 212,000 clicks straight back to their own websites.”
PropertyBox’s platform combines professional property photography with artificial intelligence tools to create social media content for multiple platforms from a single property shoot.
Market context
The data suggests video content may help agents increase listing visibility whilst driving traffic to their branded websites. However, the figures are based solely on PropertyBox’s own platform performance and have not been independently verified across the wider estate agency sector.
