Estate manager opens south coast office after £250k investment

Principle Estate Management has opened its first office on the south coast following an investment of more than £250,000, as part of a national expansion strategy.

The company, which manages more than 26,000 units across Britain, has established a base in Fareham, near Portsmouth, to service landlords and developments from Saltdean in East Sussex to Seaton on the Devon coast.

The firm recently opened a regional office in Manchester to serve the North West market.

Regional appointments

Kevin Daniells has been appointed as Director for the South and will be tasked with building a portfolio of developments and recruiting a local team of five staff within the next 12 months.

“Fareham is the ideal base for our Southern office and a location I know well. It’s ideally placed with good transport connections and the railway station is just a mile away,” Daniells said.

The firm provides block, estate and lettings management services to developers, housebuilders, freeholders, resident management companies and landlords. It currently employs 115 people across its operations.

Market expansion

Joe Jobson, Co-founder of Principle Estate Management, said the company had been approached to manage several residential and commercial schemes on the south coast, prompting the decision to establish a physical presence in the region.

“We’ve been asked to manage several residential and commercial schemes on the South Coast recently and felt the time was right to put foundations down in the region,” Jobson said.

The move comes as industry voices call for property policy stability amid ongoing changes in the sector. The south coast has seen increased investment in regeneration schemes, creating demand for property management services.

The expansion follows broader trends in the property management sector, where firms are establishing regional bases to serve growing portfolios. With landlords adjusting their strategies in response to regulatory changes, demand for professional estate management services continues to grow across multiple regions.

The Fareham office will focus on increasing the company’s market share in the south coast region, targeting both residential and commercial property developments requiring management services.
