Independent property firms have secured all four top Grand Prix Gold awards at The ESTAS 2026, according to results announced following the ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on 16 October.
The awards, which are determined entirely by verified customer reviews rather than judging panels, saw smaller locally-run businesses take top honours across estate agency, lettings, conveyancing and mortgage broking categories.
Customer-led results
Houseclub Estate Agency in Lancaster won Best Estate Agent Office in the UK, claiming its first Grand Prix Gold award. Drivers & Norris, based in Islington, north London, secured the title of Best Letting Agent Office for Landlords/Tenants.
MJP Conveyancing in Norwich was named Best Conveyancer Office in the UK, while Carmarthen-based Affinity Financial Management took Best Mortgage Broker Office in the UK.
The results contrast with broader sector trends, where larger agency groups continue to acquire independent operators and invest in artificial intelligence tools.
Regional and group categories
GoTo Group received the Supplier of the Year title. The Property Centre won Best Regional Group for businesses operating six to 20 offices, whilst the Simpson Group secured gold in the Best Local Group category for agencies with two to five branches.
The ceremony recognised hundreds of winners across county, regional and national categories, alongside individual honours through The People Awards.
ESTAS founder Simon Brown said the awards were determined by real customer feedback submitted at the end of property transactions. Property presenter Phil Spencer, who hosted the ceremony, stated: “Property is local. Your reputation is built street by street, client by client.”
Industry context
More than 1,000 property professionals attended the event, with Reapit and PayProp serving as headline partners. The awards come at a time when the property sector faces continued consolidation and technological change.
The full results demonstrate customer preferences for local service providers in a market where regional dynamics continue to shift across different areas of the UK property market.
