Propertymark to exhibit at Conservative and Labour conferences

Estate agency organisation Propertymark will exhibit at the Conservative Party Conference from Sunday 1 October 2023 to Wednesday 4 October 2023 and the Labour Party Conference from Sunday 8 October 2023 to Wednesday 13 October 2023.

Propertymark said it would use the opportunity to highlight ongoing issues faced by members and offering solutions to key political figures.

Nathan Emerson, chief executive of Propertymark, said: “Engaging with politicians and policy makers across the political divide is a key part of what we do.

“This year’s conferences are an important milestone in the political calendar and look set to be the most engaging in recent years as we gear up for a General Election.

“Housing is such an important issue so we will be there representing our members and championing the needs of the sector to those that matter and who have the power to make the right decisions.”

This year the Conservative Party Conference takes place in Manchester and the Labour Party will be gathering in Liverpool, while they could be the last conferences before the next General Election next year.

Propertymark has a series of meetings arranged with politicians and will be exhibiting to highlight the importance of qualified and trained property professionals who do so much to support consumers to buy, sell and rent homes.

The professional body will also outline its solutions to reform the private rented sector, improve the home buying and selling process, make energy efficiency rules work for the property sector and reduce economic crime.
