Spitfire returns to the Cotswolds after securing land to deliver 250 new homes

Spitfire Homes is returning to the Cotswolds after acquiring the first phase of a site that will deliver 250 new homes for the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh.

The one- to five-bedroom properties will feature a mixture of honey-coloured reconstituted stone and red brickwork, as well as slate roofs, creating an array of attractive street scenes.

Ben Leather, managing director at Spitfire Homes, said: “We’re really excited to be bringing this collection of premium new homes to Moreton-in-Marsh, with the acquisition of this site marking a return to the Cotswolds for Spitfire Homes following our previous schemes in the region.

“This thriving market town is an extremely desirable location with significant buyer demand. Our range of traditionally-inspired properties are designed to meet the needs of a range of buyers, offering well proportioned, contemporary interiors and striking architectural detail that will fit well into this charming and attractive village setting.”

Located in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Moreton-in-Marsh is a thriving market town due to its semi-rural position, benefitting from a wealth of local amenities and proximity to nearby cities.

There is a direct train to London Paddington Railway Station.

Spitfires previously completed schemes in locations such as Broadway, Chipping Campden, Milton-under-Wychwood, Fairford, and Stow-on-the-Wold.
