AI-powered block management platform targets UK agents

Inox, an artificial intelligence-powered software platform for UK block management, has launched with the aim of replacing traditional systems used by managing agents and residential leasehold property managers.

The platform consolidates property management functions into a single system, connecting property managers, accountants, leaseholders and contractors. It is designed to replace spreadsheets, legacy software and email-based workflows currently used across the sector.

Operational features

For property management teams, the platform offers automated ticket management, invoice approvals and messaging functionality accessible via mobile and desktop devices. Field-based property managers can access the same functions as office-based staff.

The accounting component uses AI to process invoices, with the company stating that hundreds of invoices can be uploaded and prepared for approval within minutes. Automated bank reconciliation provides real-time updates to service charge accounts, moving away from manual monthly processes.

Leaseholders and Right to Manage (RTM) directors can access a dedicated portal for issue reporting, financial information and communication with management teams.

Sector context

The residential leasehold sector has faced increasing pressure to modernise administrative processes, with many UK business leaders expressing concerns about adapting to technological change. Block management companies handle service charges, maintenance coordination and compliance for thousands of leasehold properties across the UK.

The company claims the platform reduces accountant time requirements, accelerates financial reporting and enables property management teams to focus on non-administrative tasks. However, specific data on time savings or adoption rates has not been disclosed.

The platform comes as property professionals navigate digital compliance requirements including Making Tax Digital, which has seen low uptake among some sectors.

Inox is available to UK managing agents and block management companies, with the company contactable via phone at 020 3488 5896 or email at hello@inoxliving.io.
