Arguably Brisbane's best waterfront development site, the 15,000sq m parcel of land will be sold by Colliers International.
The national broadcaster's former headquarters on the Brisbane River is expected to draw huge interest both locally and internationally.
Colliers International’s Jeff Dolan, who is marketing the property together with Pat George, said the ABC land was the best inner-city development site in Brisbane, bar none.
"This is the most keenly anticipated campaign in the Brisbane market over recent years and we expect great interest in this exceptional site," said Mr Dolan.
Mr Dolan said the absolute riverfront site could be developed for residential and commercial use subject to Council approval.
"The potential of this site is enormous," he said.
"Having a north easterly facing aspect with over 120 metres of frontage to the Brisbane River providing uninterrupted river and city views – where else can you purchase a 15,000m2 site within 4 kilometres of the CBD," he said.
"This prominent Toowong site has easy access to the CBD and University of Queensland," said Mr George.
"Toowong Train Station is opposite the property, bus is at the door, CityCat terminal is adjacent and Toowong Village is over the road – an ideal location for a vibrant residential community" he said.
The ABC relocated from the site in 2007 and announced last year that it will build new studios in Brisbane's South Bank precinct.
The marketing campaign for 600 Coronation Drive is due to commence shortly.
