Avrasons, a family-run agency established in 1965, has launched a residential sales division as part of a broader operational restructure at the Oval-based firm.
The south London agency has traditionally concentrated on lettings, block management and portfolio management across south and central London. The expansion now includes residential sales and building surveying services, accompanied by a technology upgrade.
System overhaul
The firm has implemented Alto as its new customer relationship management platform, replacing its previous VECO system. The decision follows an operational review and recommendations from a Propertymark audit.
Director Stephanos Stephanides said the business wanted its technology to align with its expanding service offering. “We’ve been in this industry a long time and we’re proud of the relationships we’ve built with our landlord clients,” Stephanides said. “But as we expand the business and introduce new services, we wanted to make sure our systems evolve with us and reflect how modern agencies operate.”
Operations manager Richard Jennings noted the timing coincided with multiple operational changes. “We recently had a Propertymark audit that highlighted opportunities to streamline some of our processes,” Jennings said. “At the same time we were launching a new sales office and renovating our workspace, so it felt like the right moment to modernise the software behind the business as well.”
Industry context
The move comes as agencies continue to evaluate their operational structures and technology infrastructure. Similar structural changes at established property firms have been documented across the sector, whilst process improvements remain a focus for agencies seeking to modernise operations.
The expansion into sales represents a diversification strategy for the lettings-focused business, which has operated in south London for nearly six decades. The office refurbishment works are being carried out alongside the technology implementation.
