Three London-based property firms have announced senior appointments as they expand operations across short lets, property management and residential development sectors.
Chestertons has promoted Jordana Miles to head of short lets, nearly a year after she joined as business development manager. Miles will lead a team managing tenancies that typically run between two-and-a-half to three months, working across the agency’s 35 London branches.
Miles said properties awaiting sale can generate income through short-term lettings rather than remaining vacant. She previously spent over five years at Draker Lettings, with experience in Sloane Square, Notting Hill and Fulham markets, and managed eight negotiators at Draker’s Chelsea and Kensington branch.
Katinka Hill, head of lettings at Chestertons, noted that Miles has helped the team adapt to changes introduced by the Renters’ Rights Act. The appointment comes as estate agencies adjust operations to meet evolving market demands.
Savills expands private client team
Savills has appointed Adam De Acetis as director within its Property Management division, focusing on private clients including property companies, investors, family offices and high-net-worth individuals.
De Acetis will join the portfolio team with a remit covering property management, strategic asset management and lease advisory. His role involves developing property and portfolio-level strategies whilst identifying growth opportunities in the private client sector.
John Redfern, head of UK Business Space, Property Management at Savills, said De Acetis brings experience working with property owners and investors to improve portfolio performance.
Macclesfield developer adds three senior roles
Views, a Macclesfield-based developer and investor, has made three senior appointments to support expansion of its investment and housebuilding operations.
Rob Haynes joins as head of acquisitions, reporting to co-founder and co-chief executive Shoaib Muhammad. Haynes has worked in property since 2010, with previous roles at MCR Property Group and Delph.
Andrew Turnbull has been appointed to the newly created position of delivery director, overseeing housebuilding projects from acquisition to completion. Simon Newby joins as senior contracts manager after nine years at Vistry Group, bringing 22 years of housebuilding experience. His responsibilities include health and safety oversight across developments.
The appointments coincide with Views preparing to expand development activity, with a pipeline of more than 240 homes scheduled to start construction by 2027. Co-chief executive Shujaat Rasool said the recruitment follows operational changes across the business as the company approaches its eighth year.
The moves reflect broader patterns in the sector as UK housing market conditions continue to evolve and firms strengthen operational capabilities.
