RAW Capital Partners has surpassed the total value of mortgages it delivered in 2025, making 2026 its best-ever year on record with over two months still remaining.
For over ten years, the Guernsey-based specialist lender has been providing bespoke mortgages to foreign nationals and UK expats investing in UK buy-to-let property. In December 2025, it expanded its offering to also lend to UK residents, while in July this year it launched a bridging proposition.
In September, RAW Capital Partners announced that its loan book had surpassed the £250 million milestone.
The company attributes its successes this year to several key factors. Chiefly, it has been able to provide stability in a volatile market thanks to the security of its funding, which comes from its own RAW Mortgage Fund.
The expansion to its offering, including the UK resident and bridging products, as well as improvements to product features, such its policy for lending on new-builds and allowing overpayments, have also been influential in driving demand from brokers and borrowers.
In light of increased demand for its products, RAW Capital Partners has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Andy Cameron as its new Business Development Executive. Cameron, who has over five years’ experience in financial services, will be based in London where he will build relations with intermediaries, clients and networks.
Ben Nichols, CEO of RAW Capital Partners, said: “For the second year in a row, we’ve surpassed the previous year’s lending volumes, and again we’ve done it with time to spare. This is particularly pleasing given the broader economic and geopolitical landscape, which continues to present challenges for buy-to-let investors and brokers.
“In light of these challenges, a key focus for RAW over the past year has been diversifying our offering; the recent launch of our bridging proposition is a perfect example. We have also sought ways to improve product features and processes, reducing friction for brokers and borrowers.
“To that end, the entire RAW team deserves a huge amount of credit. From our growing sales team to our experienced underwriters, there’s a great deal of dedication that goes into achieving consistent year-on-year growth. We’ve a talented, motivated group, and given the underlying strength of the RAW Mortgage Fund, we’re in a real position of strength to kick on from here and achieve more growth.”
