The Hill Group and Notting Hill Genesis reached a major milestone at Lampton Parkside, Hounslow with the topping out of the latest phase of 260 apartments. To mark this significant highlight in the ten-year project, senior representatives of the partnership came together on July 20th to celebrate reaching the highest point of construction at the landmark development.
Once complete, Lampton Parkside will provide 780 new homes to the local community, comprising 563 for private sale and 217 affordable apartments. Many of the homes have far-reaching views across Green Flag awarded Lampton Park and the scheme has been beautifully designed around landscaped communal gardens and smart podium courtyards that sit conveniently above undercroft parking, with electric car charging points and secure bicycle storage.
“Yet for me, the biggest achievement is that 217 homes will be affordable. Like many London boroughs, Hounslow is facing an acute housing shortage and these homes are a small, yet vital, stepping stone in tackling the current housing crisis. I would like to thank Notting Hill Genesis and Hill for building these affordable homes and I look forward to working with them again in the future.”
Lampton Parkside has the added advantage of a friendly and knowledgeable concierge service, operating 12 hours a day, seven days a week and each home comes with private outdoor space in the form of a balcony or terrace, an essential feature for today’s modern residents. Lampton Parkside is just a 4-minute walk to Hounslow Central underground station, giving residents access to central London in as little as 30 minutes. Equally for those looking for a quieter pace, residents can enjoy calming riverside walks and trendy café culture at nearby beauty spots such as Kew and Chiswick. Closer to home, Hounslow centre itself has seen recent transformation and boasts a range of quality restaurants, bars, and shops.
Urban life will blend seamlessly with Lampton Park’s natural setting; play areas, green open spaces and landscaped areas sit alongside existing mature and semi-mature trees. The site borders Lampton Park and the new scheme perfectly integrates with the edge of the park offering improved permeability and access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Lampton Parkside is due to complete in 2030, with the first sales completions due by the end of 2022.
