45 New Homes in Ombersley

property investing

Midlands-based housebuilder Spitfire Homes is set to deliver a collection of 45 new properties in the charming Worcestershire village of Ombersley, after acquiring a five-acre plot of land.

Located on Woodhall Lane in North Ombersley and less than 10 miles from Worcester city centre, Spitfire will deliver a mixture of high-quality two-, three- and four-bedroom residences, alongside affordable housing and attractive public realm and green space.

Spitfire’s plans for Ombersley come as global estate agent Savills featured the area in a list of the most desirable villages in the country, based on house prices, lifestyle amenities and transport links, hailing those on the list for combining countryside living with strong connectivity. This latest development also sees Spitfire expand its presence in Worcestershire, with work already underway on Mirabelle, a collection of 38 high-specification properties in Eckington under its Bespoke Collection marque.

Known for its design-led approach, Spitfire’s 45-residences at Ombersley will combine striking exteriors that are sympathetic to the local vernacular of the village, with high-specification interiors fit for modern living. Work is set to commence this month, with the first homes to be complete and ready for occupation by the end of the year.

Ben Leather, Managing Director at Spitfire Homes, said: “The opportunity to invest in Ombersley aligned perfectly with our aims to expand our presence in Worcestershire and other new markets across the Midlands in response to increasing demand from people to own a Spitfire home.”
