Audley Group secures planning approval on Surrey site

Audley Group, a provider of luxury retirement villages, has secured planning approval on the Audley Villages site at 131 Fairmile Lane, Cobham, Surrey.

The village will be the group’s second location in the Surrey area following the recent opening of Audley Cooper’s Hill in Englefield Green.

Paul Morgan, managing director, Audley Group, said “Fairmile Lane is a great addition to the Audley portfolio, and we are pleased to have been granted planning permission on this fantastic location.

“Today’s approval further demonstrates our commitment to the Surrey area and we look forward to continuing to work closely with the local community to make a positive impact through our Audley village way of life.”

The proposals include a comprehensive soft and hard landscaping strategy including the retention of 33 of the 35 trees protected by Tree Preservation Order. These include a large tulip tree that would be the centrepiece of the new gardens.

On-site facilities will be housed in the Audley Club, and will include a swimming pool, health club, restaurant and bar bistro. These faciltieis will be available to Audley property owners and their guests, alongside the provision of Audley Care which is registered with the Care Quality Commission.
