Wynyard is set for investment of over £1.6 million thanks to a new housing development by Barratt Developments North East.
The highly anticipated new development, Highgrove at Wynyard Park will offer prospective buyers the choice of a new home within a prestigious estate from a collection by both Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes, the leading brands from the 5-star housebuilder.
Barratt Developments North East will be investing over £1.6 million into the local community with £1.1 million of contributions going to education facilities to provide additional primary and secondary school places. A £200,000 Cycle Link Contribution will fund improvements to footways and cycleways to enhance linkages to the nearby coastal town of Hartlepool.
Construction has begun on the Barratt Homes site, which will see the creation of 180 two, three and four bedroom homes within a short drive from Wynyard Woodland Park. Expected to launch later this month, the David Wilson Homes site will offer a further 63 three and four bedroom luxury homes surrounded by peaceful woodland and nature trails.
