Bellway and Ashberry Homes deliver 152 new homes in Cambridgeshire

Bellway and Ashberry Homes have built a total of 152 new homes at two developments in Fordham in Cambridgeshire.

Bellway has almost finished work at Bassingbourn Fields where nearly all the 100 new homes have now been built and handed over. The developer provided 60 homes for private sale and 40 affordable properties on the site off Mildenhall Road.

Ashberry Homes, which is part of the Bellway Group, have also nearly completed construction work of all 52 new homes at Cortlands, off Soham Road, which is also sold out. The housebuilder is delivering 31 homes for the private market and 21 affordable properties here.

Rhiannon Jones, Head of Sales at Bellway Eastern Counties, said: “There is strong demand for new homes in Cambridgeshire and Bassingbourn Fields and Cortlands have made a significant contribution to satisfying that need. The mix of three, four and five-bedroom houses at Bassingbourn Fields were all from Bellway’s Artisan Collection, our flagship range of house types which have been developed, after decades of customer feedback, to combine modern construction techniques with traditional craftsmanship. These properties proved to be incredibly popular with buyers who appreciated the high quality and superb finish that come as standard with these homes.”

Bellway Eastern Counties is currently building new homes at four other developments across Cambridgeshire.

The developer is delivering 128 new homes at Elder Brook in Peterborough, 116 new properties at The Vickers in Witchford, near Ely, 90 new homes at Stilton Gate in Stilton and 59 new properties at Whitehill Gardens in Godmanchester.
