Bradley Hall has opened a dedicated office for its auctions division in Newcastle city centre, less than a year after launching the service in April 2023.
The estate agency, which operates 11 branches across the UK, has taken additional space on Grey Street, NE1, to accommodate its growing auctions team led by director Helen Wall.
The firm stated that several roles are currently being advertised to support the expansion of the department, which operates through an online auction portal serving clients nationwide.
Auction demand and client base
Wall said demand for auction properties has increased significantly since the service launched last April. The division has worked with insolvency practitioners, retiring landlords and corporate clients on a national basis.
“The new office means we have more room to expand the department,” Wall said. “We are recruiting for further Auctions team members to allow us to continue our national reach.”
The Grey Street location will enable the auctions team to work more closely with Bradley Hall’s commercial agency, valuations and building surveying departments.
Partner agent programme
Bradley Hall has also developed a partner agents programme, working with estate agencies across the country to provide auction services to their clients. The firm offers administrative, marketing and bidding support to partner agents without requiring them to invest in additional infrastructure.
The company, founded in 1988, has recently expanded its operations beyond its North East base, with growing teams in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Oxfordshire and Edinburgh.
Cassie Moyse, group marketing director at Bradley Hall, said the firm is seeking partnerships with established businesses and organisations in local markets across the UK to support its regional expansion strategy.
The auctions division represents Bradley Hall’s latest service expansion as the firm extends its geographic footprint beyond its traditional North East England territory into major cities across the UK.
