Connells Group, the UK’s largest estate agency network, has signed an agreement with OnTheMarket, completing its presence across the three major property portals in the UK market.
The deal follows Connells’ five-year contract renewal with Zoopla in January, meaning the group now lists properties on Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket.

Connells Group operates 1,263 branches under 86 estate agency brands, including Barnard Marcus, Hamptons, John D Wood, Bairstow Eves, Bridgfords and William H Brown.
Richard Twigg, Chief Finance and Commercial Officer at Connells Group, said: “OnTheMarket has made considerable headway over the past two years, and we’re impressed by the exposure it has developed across the UK housing market.”
“This partnership is fundamentally about elevating the service we offer our customers – increasing visibility of their properties, maximising choice and ultimately, helping them achieve the best possible outcome for their sale,” Twigg added.
Portal expansion
OnTheMarket was acquired by CoStar Group two years ago. Jason Tebb, President at OnTheMarket, described the partnership as “a major milestone” for the portal.
“Joining forces with the UK’s largest estate agency group is a significant achievement and a clear endorsement of the direction we’re heading,” Tebb said.
The agreement represents a strategic shift for Connells, which previously maintained listings across only two of the three main portals. The move reflects OnTheMarket’s growth trajectory since its acquisition by CoStar Group and may signal increased competition among property portals for agency partnerships.
