Construction work nears halfway mark at Hampton Magna development

Construction work is approaching the halfway mark at Bellway’s Hampton Trove development in Hampton Magna.

The 147-home development, off Daly Avenue, features a mix of styles including two, three, and four-bedroom houses, and two-bedroom bungalows.

More than half the homes have now been purchased, with 48 of the 88 properties being built for private sale having sold, and construction already complete on 34 of these properties. The other 59 homes are designated as affordable housing for rent or shared ownership.

The first residents moved into their homes in October and a total of 30 private homes have already been handed over to their new owners, while a further 18 have been reserved.

As well as providing new homes, Bellway is also making more than £1 million in financial contributions as part of its planning agreement to support education, health and transport services in the local area.

This includes £454,000 for Aylesford School, £224,000 to improve and extend the number 16 bus service, £169,174 towards local health services and a £134,000 biodiversity contribution.

Elaine Brown, Sales Director for Bellway South Midlands, said: “Sales and construction at Hampton Trove are both progressing very well.

“With 48 of the 88 private homes already taken, we are now past the halfway point on purchases at this development.

“And with construction complete on 34 properties, we are happy that building work is also going to plan and keeping good pace with the level of demand.

“Since last October there has been a stream of new homeowners moving into Hampton Trove. It has been wonderful to see the community grow and get to know each other since those first residents moved in nearly a year ago.

“Potential buyers who want to find out more are welcome to come and see our two stylish showhomes at Hampton Trove. They are the three-bedroom Mason house style and the four-bedroom Weaver, both expertly styled by interior designers to give visitors a feel for how the homes could look and work.”

A selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes are currently available at Hampton Trove, with prices starting from £293,000.
