Developer to inject over £265,000 into Nottinghamshire community

David Wilson Homes is set to contribute more than £265,200 towards local infrastructure and public services as part of the planning agreement for a brand-new housing development in Brinsley.

The 115-home development, named Old Mill Farm, which is set to launch this Saturday 2nd July, will consist of a mix of one to five bedroom homes upon completion, alongside 35 affordable properties allocated for local people.

As part of the agreement for the new development, David Wilson Homes will contribute more than £95,900 towards the creation of off-site public open space, and over £75,400 towards its maintenance.

The developer is also set to contribute funding towards local bus stops, sustainable travel and health care by providing more than £93,900 million towards facility improvements.

A sales office is set to open at the development off Cordy Lane, as part of an official launch taking place on Saturday 2nd July. The doors are being opened to the three bedroom Greenwood and Hadley style properties, both of which are ideal for first time buyers and growing families.
