‘Doll’s house’ helps buyers in Cardiff visualise new townhouse

Homebuyers in Cardiff can plan their ideal home layout before they buy, with new interactive software from Barratt Homes.

The housebuilder has launched the new ‘Doll’s House’ imagery for its Kingsville three story townhouse at Maes Y Deri in Cardiff, so buyers can ‘try before they buy’.

The interactive visual will mean potential buyers can configure their ideal layout and see how this will look once they’ve moved in, selecting how they would like each of their rooms to be used.

The range covers everything from the more traditional lounge, kitchen and bedrooms to more adventurous options like a games room, painting room, gym and bike room.

Richard Lawson, sales director at Barratt Homes, said: “The “doll’s house” is the perfect way for potential buyers to visualise their new home before they sign on the dotted line.

“Our homes offer buyers flexible living and it’s wonderful that they’ll now be able to see how they can utilise the space before they even reserve a property. The options are really imaginative.”

The Kingsville home type is a four-bedroom home set over three floors. Prices start at £297,995.

The home has an open-plan kitchen with dining area and family areas and an extra room, for an additional bedroom or study, on the ground floor.

On the first floor over-sized windows fill the lounge and master bedroom with light. Upstairs there is a further double bedroom, single bedroom and family bathroom.
