The economy is seeing fastest growth in over 10 years. Poland has much going for it currently with a steady growth of consumer spending and wages and an ever-expanding construction and business market.
Some companies, such as those out of Austria, are moving from overdeveloped countries into Poland where the construction industry is booming.
The economy here is expanding well, too. In fact, many believe that the increase and growth of the economy is due to the increased industrial production here as well as consumption demand and sales. Many EU country's funds have been used to help support such growth.
Poland has seen incredible growth since the inception last year of its new government.
Domestic demand is the main driver in the economy. Companies here are seeing expanding at 20 per cent per year. This has allowed wages to rise across the country as well. Unemployment, which was at 20 per cent before the country joined the European Union, is now at 11 per cent. This decrease has happened do to emigration as well as domestic jobs being created.
Growth is likely to continue especially with strong investments from foreign markets continuing, EU aid, Infrastructure spending increases as well as and rising employment and wages.
