Investors not paying attention to Germany

Germany has a lot to offer including a good location, a solid infrastructure, well loved tourism destinations as well as unspoilt landscapes, making it an ideal investment but many do not take notice, enough.

According to some real estate investment firms, Germany's property market is one of the world's most undervalued. Properties here are often a fraction of the cost of similar style and size homes in neighbouring countries. More so, quality homes are available and prices are a third lower than those homes in the west.

More investors are taking notice, and looking for properties in particular in the eastern portion of the city.

There are some concerns here, which have caused many to look away, but most economists believe that Germany is on its way up. Of those problems include an economy struggling with high unemployment, and an oversupply of homes. Consumer confidence here is at a record, two year low, too.

Still, because the market has been depressed for so long, most believe that it will begin to revitalize soon. Currently, business confidence has grown, which will help the country to see benefits in the short term.

Only about 43 per cent of people here own their own home. Outside buyers have the most potential for purchasing properties. This could be the first sign that the country has something to offer to foreign investors.
