Final homes for sale at Osprey Rise in Peters Village

The last few Bovis Homes properties are available to reserve at Vistry Group’s Osprey Rise location at Peters Village in Wouldham, Kent.

Vistry Group is currently building 119 new homes at the development off Worrall Drive, including 95 private properties under its Bovis Homes brand and 24 affordable homes available for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.

With construction of this phase of Peters Village progressing well, just three detached properties – two four-bedroom homes and one three-bedroom design – for sale.

Schemes are also available to help make moving easier for existing homeowners, such as Vistry’s Smooth Move and Home Exchange options.

Marketing manager for Vistry Kent, Millie Groves, said: “Osprey Rise has proved to be very popular with buyers. We’ve got a community already settling in here and there are just a few more opportunities to be part of this phase of development at Peters Village.

“Residents here are already enjoying life in this new neighbourhood, which enjoys a peaceful setting by the River Medway, with facilities such as a school and a supermarket already open.

“The Juniper and Cypress homes which remain for sale are both very attractive and practical house styles and, with our Smooth Move and Home Exchange options, moving on from a previous home could be easier than people might think.”

Under the Smooth Move scheme, the customer’s existing home is valued by one or more estate agents and a price agreed. Vistry will then deal with the estate agent during the marketing of the property and when a buyer is found the customer can reserve their Bovis Homes property, with Vistry paying the estate agent’s fees on legal completion.

Home Exchange is another option for some buyers, in which Vistry will buy their current home. The value of the old home can be up to 75 per cent of the cost of the new Bovis Homes property.

Customers who are accepted onto the scheme agree a selling price for their old home, based on its current market value and a valuation by at least two estate agents. Vistry then buys their home and the customer is able to stay there until their Bovis Homes property is ready for them to move in. It means that the customer avoids estate agent fees and any delays that could be caused by being part of a chain.
