Just two apartments remain available for purchase at Bellway’s Bartley Square development in Hook.
The developer has delivered 102 new homes in four apartment buildings set within landscaped grounds off Station Road, where construction work has already been completed.
Bartley Square is a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments within walking distance of the village centre and railway station.
There are two apartments left for sale – a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom property apiece.
Greg Allsop, Sales and Marketing Director for Bellway, said: “We have made excellent progress throughout the delivery of these new homes at Bartley Square and construction work has now come to an end at the site.
“Demand has been high for this very popular development with a large proportion of our new residents being first-time buyers and young couples who are very excited and pleased about getting their feet onto the property ladder.
“The layouts of the apartments have been expertly designed to make full use of the available space and many of the homes have an outside space.
“Residents at this development are also able to benefit from unique facilities such as lift access to all floors, underground-allocated parking, landscaped gardens, as well as all our apartments being fitted with contemporary kitchens, integrated appliances and wardrobes, therefore making them ready for residents to move into, as soon as they get their keys.”
The majority of the apartments at Bartley Square have been made available to first-time buyers with the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, as they fall under the regional price cap of £437,600.
The initiative means that first-time buyers can secure a new home at Bartley Square with a five per cent deposit and 75 per cent mortgage, with the remaining 20 per cent provided in the form of an equity loan, interest free for five years.
Greg said: “Bartley Square is an attractive new community in a great location. The development is in a quiet rural setting on the edge of a village but close to transport links.
“Residents are just a six-minute walk from Hook railway station which has train services to Basingstoke and London Waterloo, while drivers have easy access to the M3. All of this makes homes at Bartley Square a very appealing prospect.
“There are still apartments available, but I would encourage people thinking about buying here to contact our sales team as soon as possible.”
There are currently only two apartments remaining for sale at Bartley Square, including one, one-bedroom apartment currently priced at £240,000 and available to first-time buyers with the Help to Buy scheme, and a two-bedroom apartment currently available from £280,000.
