First homes released for sale at new development at Stanton Cross

The first homes have been released for sale at a new housing development in Wellingborough.

Bellway Northern Home Counties is delivering 180 new homes at Chestnut Vale, which will be the company’s third development at Stanton Cross, a new neighbourhood onthe eastern edge of the Northamptonshire town.

Chestnut Vale will comprise 171 new homes for private sale alongside nine affordable properties available for local people through rent or shared ownership.

Bellway is already building 149 new homes at The Beeches at Stanton Cross and a further 135 at Hawthorn Place within the wider scheme.

Stanton Cross is a major mixed-use development located off Irthlingborough Road at the eastern edge of the town. The project is set to deliver 3,650 new homes, employmentareas and shopping facilities, together with direct access to Wellingborough railway station.

There is currently a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes available at Chestnut Vale, with prices currently starting from £230,000, for a two-bedroom flat overgarage.
