The first residents are set to move into a new housing development in Shirley near Solihull.
Construction work is progressing well at Bellway’s Lucas Green site where the first homes are due to be occupied in February next year.
The housebuilder is delivering 76 homes on the site, off Dog Kennel Lane, which was previously occupied by Lucas Engineering and is part of a wider proposed scheme of 260 homes.
Marie Richards, sales director for Bellway West Midlands, said: “Work is very much on schedule at Lucas Green and we are looking forward to welcoming the first residents onto the new development early in the new year.”
