Housebuilder Bellway has released a range of homes for sale within the final phase of its Renovo development in Thurrock to meet continuing high levels of demand.
Almost 300 homes have already been sold and occupied within the first two phases of the development, opposite Lakeside Shopping Centre, with additional customers on the waiting list for the new phase.
A selection of one and two-bedroom homes in three new apartment buildings – Parco House, Rosa House and Sorbus House make up the final phase of homes at Renovo.
Work started in 2018 at Renovo, which is planned to deliver a total of 456 new homes for the local area.
Jenny Walker, Sales Director for Bellway Essex, said: “The final phase of this development comes on the back of very strong demand for our homes at Renovo, where a strong community has already developed among the owners of the properties already sold and occupied on site.
“Many of our buyers have been drawn to Renovo due to its ideal location which provides easy access to strong commuter links to central and east London by both road and rail, and its proximity to Lakeside Shopping Centre, which is only a few minutes’ walk away and has a host of useful shops and amenities including IKEA and Costco.
“A significant proportion of the new residents at this site have been first-time buyers, many of whom have made use of the Help to Buy scheme, available on homes up to the regional price cap of £407,400. The scheme allows first-time buyers to access a 20 per cent equity loan towards their new home, which is interest free for the first five years, so they only need a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage.
“It is very rewarding to have helped so many people take their first steps onto the property ladder at this site, and we look forward to continuing to meet the demand of homebuyers in this area during the next phase at Renovo.”
There’s a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments currently available to reserve at Renovo, with prices starting from £224,995.
