infinitSpace partners with Vallist to assist landlords globally with shift to flexible workspaces

infinitSpace has announced a global partnership with Vallist to enable more landlords and developers to enter the flexible workspace sector.

infinitSpace creates and manages tech-enabled, white-label flexible workspace brands on behalf of commercial landlords. Co-founded by former WeWork MD of North and West Europe, Wybo Wijnbergen, and his brother and serial tech entrepreneur Wilco Wijnbergen, the company launched its first London location in Aldgate Tower earlier this year and has multiple sites coming across Europe in Q4 2022.

Singapore-based Vallist helps landlords navigate the transition to flexible workspaces as well as investors looking to gain exposure in the sector. It was founded in 2021 by Lachlan Buchanan and Alex Passler, who have a combined 50 years’ experience in commercial real estate. Both have held the role of Head of Real Estate for WeWork and other global operators across different continents, structuring more than 350 deals across 40 countries throughout their careers.

Demand for flexible workspace is increasing around the world: 30% of office real estate expected to be flexible in some form by 2030.

The partnership between infinitSpace, which has a strong European foothold, and Vallist, which has gained rapid traction in the APAC and MENA regions, is designed to help commercial landlords transition quickly and keep pace with this trend.

In an end-to-end proposition, Vallist will use its global reach and strong relationships with commercial landlords to advise them on how to adapt their portfolios to include flexible workspace, while infinitSpace will manage the feasibility, design, build and ongoing marketing, sales and operation of the flexible workspaces.

Wybo Wijnbergen, CEO of infinitSpace, said: “We’re really excited to be working with Vallist – it’s a partnership that will fast-track our global expansion plans. Their team has great knowledge of the flexible workspace sector, not to mention a worldwide network of landlords, many of whom are looking for assistance in capitalising on the flexible workspace trend.

“infinitSpace takes the pain and complexity out of that process, working closely with landlords to create flexible workspaces within their portfolios, and then managing those spaces for them.”

Alex Passler, Managing Partner at Vallist, added: “We are delighted to unveil this partnership with infinitSpace – it complements our existing offering perfectly.

“Thanks to our experience and expertise in the CRE sector, landlords trust Vallist’s guidance on how to adapt to changing tenant demands. However, for many landlords, the risk lies in the operational element of running flexspace and infinitSpace are proven, passionate operators and community builders. With this partnership, not only can we advise them on their entry to the sector but execute their entire plans from end-to-end.”
