Jason Newton made MD of Redrow Homes’ North West division

Jason Newton has been made managing director of Redrow Homes’ North West division, based in Daresbury, Cheshire.

He has been promoted from sales director, a position he has held for the last five years and previously in the early 2000s.

The business builds circa 700 new homes per annum across Cheshire and parts of North Wales, Merseyside and South Manchester.

Newton said: “It’s a privilege to take on this role and I look forward to overseeing our continuing success in every area, including land acquisition, planning, construction, sales and customer care.

“When it comes to quality, I am a huge believer that we build the best product and I can say this with hand on heart having lived in two different Redrow homes over the last 20 years.

“I’ve experienced life as a Redrow customer as well as an employee which gives me useful insight in my new role.”

Redrow Homes (NW) launched a development at King’s Moat Garden Village, in Chester, while planning permission has been granted for a new £100m value scheme in Knutsford.

Plans are advancing for the Daresbury Garden Village alongside the divisional headquarters at Daresbury Park, near Warrington.

There are also existing developments like the flagship Woodford Garden Village, near Stockport, while show homes will open next month at Allerton Gardens, in Liverpool.

Newton started out in the housebuilding industry as an estimator before moving into sales as an advisor.

He first joined Redrow in 1999 as a sales manager and undertook the company’s senior management training programme before gaining a promotion to the role of sales director for the North West.

He left in 2004 and worked for two other major national homebuilders, before returning to Redrow in 2015.
