Last chance to buy at Waltham Heights development

Just a handful of properties are yet to be snapped up at a new housing development in Waltham on the Wolds.

Bellway is building 60 homes at its Waltham Heights development in the village, including 42 houses for private sale and 18 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.

Construction began on the site off Melton Road in 2019 and all the affordable properties have now been completed. Work on the remaining private homes – of which there are just six to sell – is due to finish at the end of next year.

Kenny Lattimore, Sales Manager for Bellway East Midlands, said: “Although more than 85 per cent of the private homes at Waltham Heights have already been purchased, there is still a wide variety of three, four and five-bedroom properties for buyers to choose from.

“These homes will be ideal for families seeking extra space now or first-time buyers looking to the future, and the desirable village location is the perfect place for putting down roots. Waltham on the Wolds Church of England Primary School is just a five-minute walk from the development, while the popular Twinlakes Family Theme Park is only 10 minutes away by car.

“The development’s proximity to Melton Mowbray has also been a big draw for buyers, particularly commuters who will be using the town’s railway station on a more regular basis now that workers are returning to the office.”

Four homes are currently available to buy, with a further two – including the four-bedroom detached showhome – still to be released onto the market.

Kenny said: “As well as our Buckminster showhome, we have also opened one of our three-bedroom Rosewood homes for viewings. There are two Rosewoods currently available at the development so this provides the perfect opportunity for prospective buyers to look inside one of the house designs they could be purchasing.

“With all but a handful of properties already reserved at Waltham Heights, I would encourage anyone interested in moving to this sought-after development to act soon before it’s too late.”

A selection of three, four and five-bedroom houses are currently available, with prices starting from £285,000.
