Latin America has long been a location filled with opportunity for property investment. Property is low priced, and much of the region still remains underdeveloped, offering opportunity where other locations are overvalued. In the Caribbean and Latin America, tourism plays a significant role in the overall quality of the investments here.
Several properties have been named as investment hotspots for those looking to invest in tourism driven locations. Specifically, several countries have been named as key locations for property investments for romantic getaways.
Those countries include the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Here the countries are poorer, but the opportunities are richer.
Nicaragua, for example, has been named the next Costa Rica with its ability to offer much of the same Caribbean experience for much less. Investors that want to pull away from the overpriced properties in Costa Rica but want to stay in the Latin America area will find that Nicaragua is an ideal investment opportunity.
There is little doubt that these Latin American countries will offer tourism benefits for the long haul. Many have the weather and climate to attract others and with costs of tourism much lower here people – namely couples – are more likely to come for a visit.
