LMS launches data-sharing platform for property transactions

Technology company LMS has launched a data-sharing platform designed to allow estate agents to compile property information earlier in the sales process, with the aim of reducing administrative follow-up and accelerating conveyancing timelines.

The platform, part of LMS’s National Property Transaction Network (NPTN), enables agents to create a Fast Track Sale pack at the listing stage. The pack consolidates ID checks, title details, searches and material information, which can then be accessed by conveyancers before formal instruction.

Early adoption feedback

Charlie Carr, an estate agent at eXp, said the firm had begun testing the system. “We’ve only just started our first case with NPTN and ProConvey, but already the added visibility and confidence in the conveyancers we’re working with is a real plus,” Carr said. “It’s helping to reduce early chasing, keeps buyers more engaged from the outset, and sets the right expectations for a smoother customer experience.”

Travis Scholes, Commercial Director at LMS, stated the pilot had demonstrated “the power of live, shared data” in improving transaction flow.

Chris Scantlebury, Founder of ProConvey, said: “An estate agent can sign up and have their first Fast Track Sale property ready the same morning.”

Market implications

LMS suggests earlier data sharing could improve transaction speed and reduce fall-throughs, though the platform’s broader impact will depend on adoption rates among estate agents and law firms.

The launch comes as the property industry continues to seek solutions to conveyancing delays, which have been cited as a factor in transaction failures and extended completion times. The effectiveness of the NPTN platform in addressing these issues will likely become clearer as more firms integrate the system into their workflows.
