Holiday let franchiser Pass the Keys has shifted to a management franchise model, which it said will enable franchisees to scale faster by building and leading teams.
The company manages over 1,700 properties across over 65 locations the UK and Spain.
The new model emphasis leadership over on-the-ground delivery, enabling franchisees to recruit and manage teams, oversee financial performance, and drive business development – handing frontline tasks such as guest communications and maintenance planning over to staff members.
Alexander Lyakhotskiy, chief executive of Pass the Keys, said: “As the short-term rental industry matures, we’re evolving our model to meet the needs of both property owners and local partners.
“Our shift to a management franchise model empowers local partners to grow real, scalable businesses, with the backing of our national brand, powerful technology, and proven systems. This shift enables our franchisees to build higher-value local businesses.
“At the same time, property owners continue to benefit from a truly hands-off experience, with consistent, professional service delivered by trained teams on the ground.”
Pass the Keys’ systems include proprietary property management technology with pricing optimisation tools and AI-powered guest communications, and centralised support for marketing, training and compliance.
