Plans Approved for 96 Homes in Pinchbeck

Bellway has been given the green light to build 96 new homes in the village of Pinchbeck on the outskirts of Spalding.

The plans for the former Redmile Nursery site off Wardentree Lane were approved by South Holland District Council on Wednesday (12 January).

The development, which will be known as Pinchbeck Fields, will comprise 72 three and four-bedroom houses for private sale, as well as 24 one, two, three and four-bedroom properties provided as affordable housing for local people through rent and shared ownership.

Public open space and a children’s play area will also be created within the nine-acre site, while Bellway will also be investing in local infrastructure as part of the planning agreement for the development.

Financial contributions will include £190,971 towards primary education and more than £40,000 towards local healthcare services.

Bellway has a five-star rating from the Home Builders Federation, which means that more than 90 per cent of customers have said they would recommend the housebuilder to a friend or family member.
