Product launches to digitise the letting process for remote working

Proptech

PropTech company RentProfile has launched Onboarding, a product designed to automate and streamline the set-up and management of new tenancies during COVID-19.

Onboarding removes the need for physical interactions and paperwork by remotely managing tenancy creation, agency terms, referencing, electronic signing of tennacy agreements, as well as the setting up of deposits and rent.

Paul Munday, chief executive and co-founder of RentProfile, said: “With remote work and social distancing, we see a shift in proptech adoption.

“In taking a process that can take weeks down to just minutes, without the need for physical meetings, emails, calls, we’re adding convenience at a time when the rental market is seeking solutions to help operate in a safer, more streamlined approach.”

RentProfile currently works with Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices, Jackson Stops and Emoov/Mashroom.

Onboarding is set apart from existing products based on the way the process is automated between the steps.

For example once the referencing criteria and holding deposit steps are completed tenants are automatically progressed to the referencing stage.
