Proptech app Symple starts offering non-emergency tradespeople callouts

Symple, a compliance automation platform for letting agencies and landlords, has launched a non-emergency callout service.

This enables landlords and property managers to organise essential, non-emergency gas, plumbing and electrical works on their properties.

Users of the Symple app can book jobs with tradespersons instantly, while visits are guaranteed to take place within 48 hours.

Simon Dresdner, chief executive at Symple, said: “There is a strong need for gas, electricity and plumbing expertise to ensure properties are fit for purpose. One of the things our clients struggle with is gaining access to skilled tradespeople offering these services and we’re thrilled to be closing that gap.

“Our new non-emergency callouts are the perfect solution for our growing client base. It allows landlords and property managers to book jobs with no admin, no chasing tenants or providers, and complete transparency with real-time updates.

“This ensures our clients can enjoy the same streamlined, hands-off process they’re used to with Symple, while tradespeople benefit from access to well-paid, local jobs. It’s a win-win for all involved.”

Symple manages the process for £90+VAT, which includes up to one hour of on-site resolution work by a qualified engineer.

Where an issue cannot be resolved on-site, the provider will attach a quote for additional work.
