Renters prioritise terraces or balconies after lockdown

Three in five (60%) renters would be willing to pay more for a flat with a terrace or balcony after the lockdown period.

Data from Badi found that nearly a quarter (17%) did not have access to a private outdoor space as part of their flat, while 12% found that their rooms were not optimised for working from home.

A third (31%) confirm that their requirements in a flat have changed as a result of lockdown: 54% now prefer to live in the city centre, compared to 42% who opt for the suburbs.
