Salford buy-to-let estate agency ‘Mr Investa’ launches

An estate agency called Mr Investa has launched out of Media City, specialising in buy-to-let property portfolios.

The agency was unveiled by founder Ryan Hughes last month, who started the business in his home town of Salford.

Mr Investa is UK-wide, but currently manages properties in the North West – especially Manchester and Liverpool.

Hughes started as a labourer and painter at the age of 15, before he began conducting viewings himself.

He worked as head of resales for investment firm Knight Knox between 2016 and January 2021, where he significantly expanded the number of properties being bought and sold.

At that point he got the itch to go it alone with his own firm.

Hughes said: “It was always my ambition to be more involved – and I decided if I don’t do it myself I’ll always regret it.

“Whilst in my last job, I discovered a gap in the market – the needs of investor-to-investor sales are being neglected by the high-street brands.

“Asset disposal will be key over the next two years, with most business owners needing to free up equity to stay afloat.”

He is looking to make Mr Investa’s service prominent online, as homes are displayed on Instagram and LinkedIn, while they will shortly be added to Rightmove.

Clients are provided with video walkthroughs, property floor plans, as well as the current and projected financial performance.

Hughes added: “The market is represented by busy, hardworking individuals who simply do not have the time and resources to deal with property turnover efficiently.

“We provide our clients with all the tools they need to make fully informed decisions from the comfort of their living room and on the go.”
