Property portal Zoopla has secured a three-year contract renewal with Persimmon Homes, one of the UK’s largest housebuilders, following a 46% increase in new home buyer leads during the second half of 2025 compared to the previous year.
Under the agreement, Persimmon will continue to list all its developments on the portal and utilise Zoopla’s audience targeting products, including Gateway Ads, which generated 63 million views of Persimmon’s branded advertisements on the Zoopla website in 2025.
Platform enhancements
Zoopla has introduced several features aimed at the new homes sector over the past year, including improved visibility of new homes across its website, search functionality by developer, and promotional content highlighting new-build properties to consumers.
Ed McCoy, Group Sales Director at Persimmon, said: “Zoopla’s investment into growing lead quality has demonstrated their commitment to the new homes industry, and we’re delighted to extend our long-standing partnership.”
He added: “In 2025, we became the lead partner of Gateway Ads and saw fantastic results from this investment in brand promotion to Zoopla’s home buying audiences.”
Recent portal agreements
The Persimmon renewal follows similar multi-year agreements between Zoopla and major agency groups. Last month, Andrews Property Group signed a three-year contract for its 40 branches, while Connells and its 86 agency brands secured a five-year deal with the portal.
Alex Rose, Commercial Director at Zoopla, described the partnership as “a strong endorsement of the return on investment and innovation Zoopla delivers for new homes developers.”
The contract extensions signal continued consolidation in the UK’s property portal market as major developers and agencies commit to longer-term agreements with established platforms.
