2012 RICS Awards entry deadline extended

The deadline to enter the 2012 RICS Awards has been extended to the end of this week, Friday 27 January 2012.

The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational regional initiatives and developments in land, property, construction and the natural environment.

The awards are open to everyone working within the property profession and celebrate the talents of surveyors, property developers, engineers, planners and architects, to name just a few.

These are the four categories to enter, each demonstrating how property professionals use their skills to develop, regenerate and conserve the environment in which they live and work. Sustainability is now an embedded criterion in all categories. They are Community Benefit, Regeneration, Design and Innovation and Building Conservation.

‘The winners of the regional heats will be shortlisted for the national awards and the grand final, where they'll compete for the ultimate accolade  that is project of the year,’ said David Tuffin, the chairman of Judges.
