Savills has restructured its Private Office leadership, appointing Rory McMullen as co-head alongside Alex Christian. The division comprises 25 real estate specialists based across multiple international locations, serving high-net-worth individuals, family offices and their advisers on property transactions.
McMullen, who has been with Savills for over a decade, currently heads the firm’s North America desk and specialises in cross-border transactions. Christian, based in London, focuses on the super-prime market and will continue in his existing co-head role.
McMullen stated the firm plans to expand the team in key wealth hubs and align with existing Cross Border Investment teams globally. Christian noted the division’s presence spans the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Harding Green appoints new partner
Harding Green has appointed Oliver Robson as partner, joining from Winkworth and Chestertons. Robson has worked in agency since 2017, concentrating on inner London markets.
Nick Carter, CEO of Harding Green, said Robson brings experience across sales and lettings in areas including Kensington & Chelsea and Fulham.
Chartway makes senior promotions
Housebuilder Chartway has announced two senior promotions. David Murphy, who joined in May 2025, has been appointed chief operating officer, taking responsibility for housing delivery operations including technical, pre-development, commercial, estimating, construction and customer care.
Simon Whelan has been promoted to chief compliance officer after three years with the firm. His remit will cover group compliance, health and safety, quality, ESG and sustainability.
Graham Chivers, Group Chief Executive Officer, said the appointments reflect the company’s focus on operational delivery and compliance frameworks as it pursues growth.
