Fine & Country launches lettings division in Nottingham

Fine & Country has expanded its Nottingham operation to include a lettings and property management division, marking its entry into the rental sector after more than a decade focused on property sales in the region.

The expansion targets landlords, investors and tenants in Nottinghamshire’s upper quartile property market, where the firm has established its sales presence.

Tom De Ville, Director at Fine & Country Nottingham, said: “This is a strategic step that reinforces our leadership within Nottinghamshire’s premium property sector and reflects our continued ambition to set the benchmark for quality and client experience.”

New hire with industry experience

The firm has appointed Craig Pearce as a Fine & Country Associate to lead the lettings division. Pearce brings 28 years of property industry experience, having progressed from trainee negotiator to director level roles during his career in the lettings sector.

Pearce said: “Joining Fine & Country feels like the perfect next step. It is a chance to combine my experience and passion for property with a brand that truly values quality, integrity, and service. I’m excited to bring my energy and expertise to such a respected name in the industry.”

De Ville commented on the appointment: “Craig is the ideal person to lead this new division. His extensive experience, commercial insight and commitment ensure we will deliver a professional service for landlords, investors and tenants alike.”

Market positioning

The move represents Fine & Country’s attempt to capture a larger share of Nottinghamshire’s rental market by offering services across both sales and lettings. The firm’s entry into property management follows a broader trend among estate agencies seeking to diversify revenue streams amid fluctuating sales volumes in the UK property market.

The new division will provide full-service lettings and property management, competing with established lettings agencies in the Nottingham area.
