Reapit integrates AI home move service for estate agents

Property software provider Reapit has integrated with Just Move In, an AI-driven home move service, in a partnership that aims to reduce administrative workload for estate and letting agents whilst generating additional revenue streams.

The integration allows movers to access Just Move In’s AI assistant, named Jay, or speak to human advisers to manage tasks including council notifications, broadband setup, utilities and insurance services. The service recommends sustainable utility suppliers where available and plants a tree for each mover.

Property management implications

The partnership addresses operational challenges in the lettings sector, particularly during change of occupancy and void periods. According to Just Move In, the platform can reduce change of occupancy administration by up to 90%, potentially saving property managers an average of 19 hours per month through automated utility notifications and supplier updates when tenants vacate properties.

The timing aligns with recent changes to landlord regulations that have increased administrative demands on property managers. The integration with Reapit’s software, which powers a significant volume of UK property transactions, aims to streamline processes as tenancy patterns become more volatile.

Revenue model and future development

Agents using the service can earn revenue when utilities and services are purchased through the integration, though specific commission rates were not disclosed. Future developments will include AI-driven home setup and concierge capabilities, enabling agents to maintain engagement with tenants and buyers beyond the initial move-in date.

Ross Nichols, Co-founder of Just Move In, said: “By partnering with Reapit, whose software powers more transactions than anyone else, we can reach more agents and their customers at exactly the right moment. Our services help movers set up essential services quickly and easily, with no effort from the agency.”

The partnership reflects broader efforts within the property sector to reduce administrative burdens through technology integration, as agencies expand their service offerings in an increasingly competitive market.

The integration is now available to Reapit’s client base of estate and letting agents across the UK.
