Property Franchise Group invests £900,000 in AI platform

The Property Franchise Group (TPFG) has acquired a 25% stake in conversational AI platform Enteka Ai for £900,000, as artificial intelligence adoption accelerates across the estate agency sector.

The investment comprises £900,000 in new shares for a 15% equity interest, with an additional 10% stake issued upfront subject to forfeiture conditions tied to a three-year commercial agreement. Under the deal, Enteka will become TPFG’s preferred AI provider.

Enteka is currently operational across more than 210 TPFG offices, including branches within Belvoir, EweMove, Hunters, Martin & Co, Northwood and Whitegates. The platform is also used by Brook Financial Services.

AI functionality across multiple channels

The platform has been developed specifically for estate agents and mortgage brokers, handling enquiries across telephone, email, SMS, WhatsApp and live chat. Its functions include lead capture and qualification, appointment arrangement, and identification of cross-selling opportunities.

Agents can deploy the technology to re-engage contacts within existing databases and manage property maintenance enquiries. TPFG expects adoption to expand beyond the 210-plus offices currently using the system.

The move reflects broader changes in how estate agents are adapting their services through technology integration, as firms seek operational efficiencies in a competitive market.

Strategic positioning

Gareth Samples, chief executive of TPFG, said the investment reflects the company’s commitment to delivering value for franchisees. “Enteka’s technology is designed around the needs of property professionals, helping them capture more opportunities and spend more time on the activities that grow their businesses,” he stated.

Samples added that early adoption across the network could create a “first-mover at scale advantage”.

Christos Votsis, founder and CEO of Enteka Ai, said the company was founded to help property professionals convert customer conversations into business opportunities whilst reducing administrative workload.

Enteka will remain an independent business and continue supplying estate agencies and mortgage brokers outside the TPFG network. The investment forms part of TPFG’s strategy of investing in or acquiring businesses that complement its existing property franchise operations.

The deal comes as senior appointments continue across the UK estate agency sector, with firms restructuring to accommodate technological transformation alongside traditional property services.
