Campions Group has acquired Aston Chase, a central London estate agency, as part of a strategic repositioning that has seen the group exit regional markets to concentrate on the capital.
The acquisition follows the closure of Campions’ South West branches earlier this year, including Chase Buchanan offices in Trowbridge, Melksham, Bristol and Bath in February. The group now operates exclusively in London through its portfolio of brands, which includes Chestertons, Retirement Homesearch and Campions Lettings and Management.
Prime market consolidation
Aston Chase operates across prime central and north west London, with a presence in Marylebone, Regent’s Park, St John’s Wood, Little Venice, Maida Vale, Primrose Hill, Belsize Park and Hampstead. The agency, founded in 1985, specialises in super-prime sales and has expanded its lettings division in recent years.
The acquisition adds to Campions Group’s existing London network, consolidating its position in higher-value urban markets. The move reflects broader trends in the estate agency sector, where operators are increasingly focusing resources on specific geographic areas. Similar strategic shifts have been observed across the property finance sector, with lenders targeting portfolios in concentrated markets.
Under the acquisition terms, Aston Chase will continue as an independent agency within Campions Group, retaining its brand and leadership structure. Co-founder Mark Pollack and director of house sales Michael Sulkin will remain in their positions.
Expansion plans
Pollack said: “Over the last four decades, we have grown Aston Chase into a market-leading agency that uniquely understands the prime and super prime markets and its clientele. The investment from Campions Group will no doubt propel the business further and allow greater expansion of services in North West London.”

Campions Group is exploring opportunities to open additional Aston Chase offices across central and north west London. The group was established in 2023 and has pursued rapid growth through acquisitions and consolidation of its existing brands.
The restructuring comes amid changing market conditions in the prime London residential sector, where agencies are adapting their business models. The shift mirrors wider changes in the property sector, where operators are responding to regulatory and market pressures.
The acquisition represents a clear pivot for Campions Group from a geographically diverse operation to a London-focused strategy targeting prime and super-prime residential markets.
